Our goal, as a professional Realtor, is to give the absolute best service and advice to our customers when they are buying or selling their homes.
We want our customers to appreciate our service so well that they send their family and friends.
The Florida Real Estate Market is a very unique market. Interstate I-95 feeds the East coast of Florida with New Englanders and New Yorkers. Interstate I-75 brings folks right out of the heartland of America to the West Coast of Florida. From the Boston accent to the midwestern accent, Florida is home to them all. Of course, it is also an international attraction so the German, English and Spanish accents can be heard, as well.
Most of the people that live in Florida (89%) live within fifteen (15) miles of the coast. Our beaches are constantly named in the top 10 beaches of the world. The pristine, fine, white "sugar" sand beaches stretch from the shores of Sarasota to Miami Beach. Waterfront Homes command a premium price. Everyone pictures a cold Margarita in their hand, sitting on their own dock, watching the sunset. The picture is not complete without a Jimmy Buffett CD playing on the stereo. (One must remember to buy all the Flower shirts at the mall prior to moving to Florida. Once you live here, the time that you used to spend at the mall is now spent at the beach.)
Although the West Coast has many beautiful quaint towns that appeal to a variety of people, we hope to describe the more urban centers of attraction. Starting with Tampa Bay, the scenery is rich with the salty sea life that flows from North Port Richey and Clearwater to the southern part of the bay where Bradenton and Sarasota lay claim. The Tampa Bay area includes St. Pete and Clearwater (north of the Bay); Tampa and Lutz (Central area); Brandon and Apollo Beach (east of the Bay); and Palmetto and Bradenton (South of the Bay). Tampa Bay encompasses three counties: Hillsborough, Pinellas and Manatee Counties.
The West Coast of Florida is dotted with many small barrier islands that many exotic birds make home. This makes waterfront property a constant source of entertainment to the birdwatchers and Audubon Society members. Boaters from around the world come to our little side of paradise to enjoy the emerald green water and the deepest shade of azure blue skies this side of heaven. Ocean front property for sale is appreciating at a steady climb (33-46%). It seems that no one can wait to take their shoes off and feel the sand between their toes.

There is an entire new language one may encounter when buying a home from across the country. This can some times be very intimidating. Some times there are "code words" that are very local to that particular area. Terms like Townhomes could mean one thing in one part of the country and something completely different in another part of the country. We hope to clarify the terms and describe the properties through pictures and possibly floor plans. As Realtors, we sometimes get excited and passionate about our business and forget to decipher our "trade language" or buzz words. The MLS refers to our Multiple Listing Service. (We input "data" about the houses for sale and it then becomes an MLS listing.) The easiest way to stay current on the information being input on a daily basis is to have an agent from FIRST in Real Estate set up a "flash" or "instant message" of homes for sale. It is a free service that we do with a smile.
The area is growing so fast that it is difficult to keep up with the demand. That is why we are enjoying some of the most exciting designs in new homes in the nation. Master planned, gated communities with Golf Courses and Nature Trails are becoming increasing popular places to call home. These Master Planned communities accommodate all kinds of New Floridians. They can range from the first time home buyers to the Luxury Custom Homes.
